We don’t know what’s more majestic, the beautiful waterfall or the 2017 Kia Sorento.
The 2017 Kia Sorento is out, and the reviews are rolling in. The latest version of this crossover defies stereotypes and brings a high-quality design and plenty of power to the road. The overall refinement and style is set to revolutionize comparable models from American automakers. Put simply, the new Kia Sorento brings a value-oriented design no competitor can match.
While many automakers have abandoned rounded edges and curves, designers stayed the course with the 2017 Sorento. Inside, an upscale interior marked by luxurious upholstery and silver trim accents. The front seats deliver excellent support and the SXL trim brings both heated and cooled front seats. The new model even brings third-row seating.
The Kia Sorento brings a 3.3-liter V6 engine that delivers a pavement-pounding 290 hp. That powerful engine also earns up to an EPA-estimated 23 mpg on the highway. An available all-wheel-drive system adds to the vehicle’s maneuverability while the maximum towing capacity tops competitors at 5,000 pounds.
At the end of the day, the Sorento is a midsize crossover with a utility-driven design. The easily accessible hatch brings up to 73 cubic feet of interior space with both back rows folded down.

2016 KIA Niro SUV
The 2017 Kia Niro is an upcoming hybrid crossover vehicle currently available to preview at select Kia dealers. The Niro comes with a 1.6-liter GDI 4-cylinder engine and 6-speed transmission that offers exceptional ride quality without compromising its incredible fuel economy. At 50 mpg combined, the Niro will be at the top of its segment in efficiency.
The estimated Kia Niro fuel efficiency comes in part from its Full Parallel Hybrid System and partly from its lightweight build, which uses lighter materials and aerodynamic design to decrease drag and improve fuel economy while keeping the cabin quiet. It also has innovative driver-only ventilation, so when you’re driving alone you don’t waste gas cooling other seats.
The FPHS combines the power of the 4-cylinder engine with the 43-horsepower electric motor and a lithium-ion battery to deliver smooth, energetic ride. The Niro’s dashboard displays your vehicle’s stats, tell you how much you’ve maximized your fuel economy, and more.
With available driver assist technologies like Autonomous Emergency Braking as well as wireless charging, a variety of outlets, and an auto defog system, the Niro provides unbeatable convenience and safety. Its exceptionally comfortable interior offers heated and cooled front seats, a heated steering wheel, and flexible cargo space with extra under-tray storage.
Efficient, stylish, and innovative in every way, the 2017 Kia Niro is the hybrid SUV to beat.
2017 Kia Sorento
Fresh off a brilliant redesign, the 2017 Kia Sorento emerges as a refreshing choice for your next family vehicle. Kia has added more cabin space this time around plus a newly-designed dashboard. These changes combine nicely with the Sorento’s overall design to make for a well-balanced SUV that is ready to rise to any occasion.
The intelligent design of the all-new Sorento is manifest in its practical and beautiful exterior design. Engineers gave the Sorento a wider stance and longer wheelbase. It’s a change that not only produces a more elegant shape and profile but also improves handling. The available Smart Power Liftgate allows you to open the liftgate when your hands are full using just your foot.
The Sorento proves more than capable in the performance department. There are three engines to choose from, including the 3.3-liter V6 that—combined with the available Dynamax AWD system—is capable of towing up to 5,000 pounds. Not to mention, the AWD system adds Torque Vectoring Cornering Control to your arsenal of features. The result is a vehicle that handles with unbelievable balance and response.

Big news for KIA drivers and SUV lovers: the 2016 KIA Soul and Sportage were both ranked highest in their segments for Initial Quality by J.D. Power and Associates!
For the second year in a row, the KIA Soul has topped the Initial Quality Study in the Compact Multi-Purpose Vehicle segment. This year, the Soul beat out tough competition like the Ford C-Max and Toyota Prius v with just 72 problems per 100 vehicles. Similarly, the Sportage edged out the Hyundai Tucson and Buick Encore with just 85 problems per 100 vehicles, improving significantly in the Infotainment and Navigation areas.
As if that were not good enough news, KIA’s entire vehicle line leads all other brands in initial quality with an average of just 83 problems per 100 vehicles. That means you’re making a safe bet when you choose a Forte, Rio or Sorento as well!
For 30 years, the U.S. Initial Quality Study has been conducted by J.D. Power to evaluate problems new vehicle owners experience with their vehicles during the first 90 days of ownership. Each vehicle graded in the study is granted a score based on its reported consumer problems for every 100 vehicles tested. The study is designed to give new car shoppers an idea of how well-loved a brand new car is and inform potential buyers which cars are likely to impress in the areas of design, performance, comfort and ease of technology.

Kia is raking in the awards, including the prestigious safety award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). In fact, the 2017 Kia Sportage recently received the Top Safety Pick+ award, demonstrating that this model is among the safest on the highway.
2016 Kia Sportage
This rating reflects top scores in each of the five crashworthiness tests, including driver assist technologies which aid in preventing crashes. According to the automaker, Kia safety technologies include features like Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS), Blind Spot Detection (BSD) with Lane Change Assist (LCA), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), and Bi-HID headlights with Dynamic Bending Light (DBL) technology, high-beam assist (HBA), and front and rear parking assist.
“The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety is one of the most recognized and respected organizations in the industry when it comes to evaluating vehicle safety, and as such, the Top Safety Pick Plus designation is a significant achievement,” said Orth Hedrick, vice president of product planning for Kia. “We are especially proud to have our all-new Sportage earn that TSP+ rating in light of IIHS’ new, more challenging standards, validating the efforts of our engineers and the priority we place on safety.”
The Sportage is available with all the latest technologies, as well as an intelligent design. The body is rigid, and it has been carefully engineered to protect passengers in the event of a crash. The new Sportage is ideal for families and drivers who always make safety a top priority.
One of the hottest cars to roll across the stage at the recent Chicago Auto Show was the 2017 Kia Niro. Kia calls it a hybrid utility vehicle. A sharp-looking crossover with roof rails and rear skid plate, the Niro certainly exudes a utility vibe.
The 2017 Kia Niro also looks distinctly like a Kia and this is a very good thing. Kia’s signature honeycomb mesh grille adorns the front end while clean lines and economy of design complete the picture.
2017 Kia Niro
The 2017 Kia Niro offers Prius-like economy. But in a number of ways, it outdoes the popular Toyota model. It has a nicer cargo area, plus tons of torque—195 lb-ft in fact. That’s considerably more than the Prius.
The 2017 Kia Niro is the latest entry among the EcoDynamic Kia lineup that the automaker has committed to making. In fact, Kia has plans to roll out 20 EcoDynamic models by 2020. If they all have as much spirit and appeal as the Niro, the automotive market is in for a treat.

Kia recently unveiled the first official images of the 2017 Sportage exterior. The compact SUV is entering its fourth generation and is slated to make its world debut at the Frankfurt International Motor Show in mid-September.
The new Sportage was designed with modern fighter jets in mind, and that source of inspiration shines through in the car’s slick lines and smooth angles. From the side, the Sportage looks very similar to previous models, but the angular headlights, wrap-around LED taillights, and tiger-nose grille all lend the SUV a more aggressive edge. Its wider nose and sleek, horizontal shapes aim to give the Sportage exterior a more stable stance.
The 2017 Sportage exterior was designed by Kia’s European studio in Frankfurt, Germany, though the team drew input from the company’s design studios in Korea and California. They worked together seamlessly to create a sportier, more muscular SUV while still retaining the Sportage’s overall shape and Kia’s signature look.
